Frequently Asked Questions
What are the qualifications of your caregivers?
Our caregivers are qualified personal care workers with experience working with older adults with physical or cognitive disabilities. They work or have worked in seniors' residences, long-term care facilities (CHSLDs), hospitals, and home care.
My loved one refuses outside help. What do you advise me?
Introduce caregiving gradually by presenting the caregiver as temporary support or a family friend. Highlight the benefits for the loved one and offer a limited trial period. An Amika Care Advisor can help you facilitate this transition.
What type of follow-up do you do following the services provided?
A report is sent after each visit, including the tasks performed and comments on the loved one's health. A care advisor also monitors the overall progress of the case.
