Caregivers you can trust

Amika Caregivers are experienced care workers or family assistants, nursing students or even nursing assistants.

They work or have worked in seniors' residences, CHSLDs, hospitals and in home care for the elderly in the public and private sectors.

Their goal with each visit: to bring a smile to the faces of the people they have helped and to relieve the burden on caregivers.

We rigorously select healthcare workers who wish to join our team.

  • We conduct a criminal background check.

  • We verify professional training and certifications (RCR, PDSB, diploma)

  • We validate their references in senior care with their former employers: they must have had an impeccable attitude.

  • We conduct two interviews to validate that their values correspond to those promoted by Amika: empathy, generosity, kindness.
