Allowing Seniors and Their Caregivers to Choose to Stay at Home.

Our patients are the centre of our business. We strongly believe that they deserve the highest quality of home health care services. We are committed to achieving this goal through reliable service delivery that adheres to our Mission, Vision and Values.
-
Our Vision
A world where people, especially seniors have the choice and confidence to be cared for at home – wherever home may be.
-
Our Mission
We are re-imagining home care for clients and families to provide products and services they need, whenever care is required, delivered by the most qualified and compassionate staff.
At Amika, our values are reflected in everything we do:
-
Caring
We help others the way we want to be helped.
-
Trust
We count on each other.
-
Responsiveness
We always do our best and search for ways to do it even better.
-
Safety
We keep our patients and staff safe.

Caregivers you can trust
Amika Caregivers are experienced care workers or family assistants, nursing students or even nursing assistants.
They work or have worked in seniors' residences, CHSLDs, hospitals and in home care for the elderly in the public and private sectors.
Their goal with each visit: to bring a smile to the faces of the people they have helped and to relieve the burden on caregivers.
We rigorously select healthcare workers who wish to join our team.
The selection process is as follows:
-
We conduct a criminal background check.
-
We verify professional training and certifications (RCR, PDSB, diploma)
-
We validate their references in senior care with their former employers: they must have had an impeccable attitude.
-
We conduct two interviews to validate that their values correspond to those promoted by Amika: empathy, generosity, kindness.
